This guide provides a step-by-step process on the initial stage of creating a campaign that can be embedded as a widget on your website. This would be useful if you're installing UpViral on a third-party tool such as ClickFunnels, WordPress, LeadPages, and others.

Follow the steps below:

1 - Login to your UpViral account: https://app.upviral.com/login.php..

2 - Once inside the dashboard, click Create New Campaign at the upper right corner of the dashboard/edit your existing campaign.

3 - If you're creating a new campaign, you will be asked to choose a template and create your campaign.

Once a template has been chosen you can see the Preview of that template or you can click 'Use Template' to proceed with the set up

Then you will be brought to the Overview section where you will have an idea of how Upviral works

4 - For the next steps, you will need to set up your Rewards where you can create your Grand Prize and Incentives. The Sharing & Actions where you can assign points for sharing on social share buttons, sign up, referrals, and custom actions. Share Message section where you can add in here how you want to show when your campaign is shared through any of the social media that is enabled on your campaign. You can skip those steps in the meantime and head over to "Design Pages". This is where you can set up your opt-in and share widget designs which you can embed.

The Opt-In Page is where your audience can sign up for your campaign, while the Share Page is where they will be redirected once they have signed up and clicked the call to action button or sign up button from your Opt-in.

Click on "Add Template" first.

This will open up the editor where you can then design how the widget will look like by clicking on the third icon at the top of the editor's page:

After creating your designs, you can set up your email notifications under the Communication section where for example one gets notified if they sign up for your campaign or when one unlocks the Incentive you have set up under Rewards. Then, on the Autoresponder tab, if you have one (e.g. Active Campaign, Mailchimp, Aweber, etc.), you can integrate it into your UpViral campaign and it will show up in this section. Lastly, Advanced Settings is where you can modify terms and conditions, general setup, add tracking codes, etc. In the meantime, you may skip these steps and proceed to the Publish tab.

5 - The Publish section is where you can get all the details that you need in order to integrate your third-party tool.

First, click on the "Edit" icon on the "Referral Traffic" tab once you're on the Publish tab of your campaign.

6 - This will then bring you to the next page:

  • The first step is to add your website where you want to embed the opt-in widget

7 - Next, head over to the "Opt-in widget settings" section. In this step, you can choose whether you have the standard template, pop-up, popover, or HTML form, then beside it is where you can see the preview of your chosen setup. Below these options, you can set the alignment of the widget whether it's Left, Center, or Right. Then lastly the width of the widget, the standard width is 100% as shown below example:

8 - Share widget settings where you have two options whether you want the share widget to show on the same page to your opt-in widget or you can redirect it to the other page of your third-party tool used. If you choose to redirect it to a different page then you need to add the page URL of where you want the share widget to show after they have signed up. Beside the step 2 options you will also see the Preview of your Share widget as shown below:

You can also edit the Share widget's alignment and width same with Optin.

9 - Installation this step is where you can copy the codes and embed them into your third-party tool. For Optin Widget that's where your leads sign up to your campaign, then for Share widget that is where your leads get redirected after they click the call to action button or sign up button from your opt-in (if on separate pages for your Optin and for your Share page)
