In this article, we'll guide you on how to create your share page or share widget (embed it to your site/tool used) The share page or share widget will show your participants their unique referral link and share it to the social share buttons you have enabled.
You'll have the option to either create a full-width page that's hosted on UpViral using any of our templates or to create a share widget that can be embedded into your website.
Create Share Page (Hosted)
Once you've created your Lead Capture page you will now be able to create your share page.
1 - There are templates available for you to choose from. Please choose which template best suits your campaign. Click on the 'Select Template' button from the template you have chosen.
2 - You are now able to edit your selected share page template.
On the left-hand side of the screen, you will find various main options that you can Drag and Drop to add to your template.
And on the right-hand side of the screen, is where you can access the Property Options and Templates Settings to edit and personalize your share page.
On the Template Settings, you're able to choose the background of your share page, you can either choose from the options available or add your own image for the background. (Recommended size is 1920 x 1080 however, this totally depends on screen resolution). Then you can also edit the Primary and Secondary colors of your share page.
Now you can edit your Social links section, you can enable or disable available Social share buttons to show on your social share widget.
Once you have completely set up your Share Page you can now Click the Save button
Create Share Widget (Embedded)
Once you've set up your Lead Capture widget you are now able to set your Share widget to be embedded into your website or tool used.
1 - You will be brought to the What type of share page do you want? page to choose whether you want to use Share page templates from Upviral which is Create Full-Width Page or embed the share widget to your tool used which is Embed a widget. For now, we will choose to Embed a widget since you will be embedding only the share widget to your Thank you page on your website or tool used.
2 - You will be directed to the Create your share widget page to choose the template you'd like to use. Click the 'Select Template' button from your chosen widget.
3 - You will then be brought to the page where you can edit your chosen widget template just like Hosted Share page.
Once done you can now click Save button.
