In case you've set up your integrated campaign but it's not working as you'd expected, here are various things you could check:


#1: Have you configured the exact correct URLs for your pages?

 

Go to your Publish tab, and click on the "Edit" icon on the "Referral Traffic" tab once you're on the Publish tab of your campaign.



Double-check if the share page URL (step 3) and "Your website URL (step 1) are the same ones you're using for those respective pages. Any typos, extra characters, or wrong page URLs might be the ones causing the issue. 



#2: Have you installed all the codes properly?

 

On the same Publish tab, whether you're using UpViral as an embedded widget, popover widget, popup widget, or HTML form, it's important that you paste all of the codes displayed in the 4th section of the installation. Always double-check to make sure you have all codes placed properly on your page.


Example: for HTML form setups where you're using your own pages and forms to collect information, make sure all three codes are placed properly (embed opt-in widget codes on your opt-in page and embed share widget code on your share page). If any one of these is missing, this could be the cause of the issue. 



#3: Have you cleared your cookies?

 

When you test your setup before completion, it's possible that your internet browser saves a cached version of that page. When you later finish the integration, it could still show the old version - so that it looks like it's not working.

 

Please clear your browser's cache in order to test it again - so you can see whether it's currently working.
