When you will pause any campaign it will show an inactive status on your UpViral dashboard, like this:
(As you can see, a paused campaign is an Inactive campaign.)
You also have the option to decide how your paused campaign page will look like. To do this, edit your campaign. Go to Setup > Advanced Settings, and choose between a Default Page, Custom Page or a URL Redirect:
