Some people will try to game the system by signing up with multiple emails from the same IP address/computer or use fake emails. Our Fraud Prevention feature solves that issue!
When turned on, UpViral automatically deactivates leads that it considers fraudulent.
This means that they won't get any email, unlock rewards, etc. You as the campaign owner can see all these fraudulent leads and manually approve them as you see fit.
How to Automatically Deactivate Fraudulent Leads:
1 - Go inside your UpViral campaign. Under General Setup > Advanced, click General Setup from the menu:
2 - Then activate "Automatically deactivate fraudulent leads"
To Approve Leads That UpViral Detected As Suspicious:
1 - Go to Fraud detection (on the top menu of your campaign).
2 - Click the checkbox that corresponds to the lead you wish to activate. Then click the check icon at the top of the leads list to activate your selected lead:
Note: When leads are Approved manually, the UpViral system will take a bit to process those leads before approving them and sending them to your autoresponder/CRM.
