You may be wondering why the number shown on the "Collect Leads" banner is different from the actual number of leads you've collected in your campaigns:

In this article, we'll help explore possible reasons for the difference in numbers as well as what to check in case you're facing this scenario.

Before proceeding with the reasons, do take note that Collected Leads counts all the leads that have passed through your opt-in form while the number on your Campaign's Leads only shows the number of confirmed and healthy leads in the campaign

Reason 1: You have Double Opt-in Enabled and Leads Haven't Confirmed Entry Yet

Under the "Lead Quality" part of your campaign, you should be able to see an option of enabling Double Opt-in wherein participants would need to confirm their entry first via email before they're officially added to the campaign. Unconfirmed participants will not show up as leads yet on a campaign until they confirm, thus this could be one reason why the number of leads on your campaign does not match the number of Collected Leads.

These participants have technically passed through the opt-in form already, thus they're counted towards the Collected Leads, but they have not yet confirmed their entry into the campaign thus they're not counted towards the campaigns leads yet.

Reason 2: Some Leads Might be in the Fraud Detection Tab

Under the "Fraud Detection" part of your campaign, this is where fraudulent leads go to when our system detects suspicious activities from these participants. Similar to unconfirmed leads via double opt-in, these participants have technically passed through the opt-in form already as well, thus they're counted towards the Collected Leads.
